Self-Hell
Self-Hell' is a picture book illustrated and authored by Sarvenaz in 2016. It was launched along with an exhibition of artwork relating to the theme of human emotions.
"My intention in this series is to illustrate and validate the many emotions that underlie the common human struggle. The child-like quality of the drawings and visceral quality of the sculptures seeks to connect viewers with an innocent and vulnerable part of themselves. I believe these feelings must be faced and embraced in order to move beyond them, experience true joy and ultimately recognize the universality of the human experience."
