Sarvenaz was invited to be a speaker at the "Morris in the 21st Century" conference at Royal Holloway College in Surrey, UK in 2005 to present on her Master's thesis: "Reflections on Persian Art and Design in the Works of William Morris." She also presented her research at the Block Museum in Chicago, IL in 2006.

imagine1 day Fundraising Event
In September 2015, Sarvenaz was hired by imagine1day to design an interactive art activity for a unique fundraising event at the home of Chip and Shannon Wilson. imagine1day was founded in 2007 with the goal of ensuring that all Ethiopian children have access to quality education, free of foreign aid, by 2030.

Things on the Shoreline was a collaborative project initiated by Access Gallery, Cindy Mochizuki and the students of Lord Strathcona Elementary School and the Vancouver Japanese Language School. Sarvenaz assisted with this project as an art educator in workshops with grades 4 and 5 students.

The Children’s Healing Experience Project at BC Children's Hospital
In October 2017, the new Teck Acute Care Centre opened its doors on the BC Children’s Hospital campus. Designed with patients, families, and caregiver needs in mind, the space strategically utilizes art and imagery to help promote healing and well-being.
Sarvenaz had the privilege of writing six levels of educational content about BC artist Emily Carr located outside the main elevators on levels 1, 3, 4, 6, 7, & 8 where visitors are presented with a curated selection of Emily Carr paintings from the Vancouver Art Gallery.

Vancouver Co-Op Radio
From 2017-2019, Sarvenaz was a co-host to Gunargie O-Sullivan on the radio program 'When the Spirit Whispers' which focused on Indigenous issues, reconciling through art, community, current and public affairs. Sarvenaz also served on the Board of Directors of the Community Radio Education Society from 2018-2019.

Community Unity Festivals
Sarvenaz has organized and led over 10 Community Unity Festivals in Kitsilano open to all children and families in the neighbourhood. Activities were inspired by themes of unity in diversity, gender equality, virtues, social justice, Indigenous history and issues, community building and charitable giving. These events were held with the support of the Bahá'í community on the occasion of special celebrations.
